    - The Problem of Additional Software Clients Added to Updates by Developers

Some updates to free software clients - even to paid ones, are just cosmetic changes that does not bring any improvement to the software. They are released bundled with non requested/needed additional software that install themselves during the updating process.

That is a way for in demand popular becomes to increase their bottom line, marketing for third parties productions.

The problem is that these additional software may install themselves with the needed/requested one without the consent of the owner of the original software to be updated.

As long as the added client is not harmful, do not destabilize the system, that may be OK. For instance, if the added software is a ZIP packer, an email client, a download manager or a diary software, there is no problem - except that you may feel uncomfortable that additional software are installing on your system without your approval.

The problem may become serious for the stability of your system, if the added non-needed client is an Anti-Virus, that would mess up with the anti-virus already in place in your computer.

    - Use a Software to Block the Installation of Non Solicited Clients

During the installation process, one has to be vigilant to untick the installation proposal for the added software. If you are not vigilant, and let the installation proceed "unchallenged," you are responsible for any damage that may result from said installation. Sometimes it is two, three and even more unsolicited clients that are added

Of course, once you notice that additional clients had been added to your system, you have the possibility to remove them using an efficient uninstaller - such as Geek Uninstaller available at majorgeeks.com, that removes registry entries as well.

The removal of neutral added software such a ZIP package, an email client or a diary may not result in destroying the stability of your system. If the removed added software is an Anti-virus, the problem may became serious for the stability of the system.

Hence the necessity to take prevention action when updating to stop the installation of unwanted/non-solicited software. There are utilities such as UNCHECKY that does that precisely.

However, some unsolicited clients, such as an Anti-virus may by-pass Unchecky's guardian action and proceed with installation.

Further, such utilities that force their way into your system cannot be reinstall or delete from the system with a good uninstaller. They glue in, sending pop up message asking you to register and pay to use them.

If you are using Windows 10, you can minimize the negative impact of an anti-virus that forced its installation by using this sequence: Click on ALL SETTINGS/ UPDATE & SECURITY/ VIRUS AND THREAT PROTECTION and finally click on MANAGE PROVIDERS. On the interface that opens up, choose, MICROSOFT DEFENDER ANTI VIRUS to shut down the unwanted added antivirus client.

And you can use this software to remove unwanted antivirus client from your system.

MICROSOFT DEFENDER ANTI VIRUS is an excellent anti virus client, rated amongst the best, that has a good Firewall to grant or refuse permissions to any application in your system. It can also be configured to stop Ransomware,

More, MICROSOFT DEFENDER ANTI VIRUS is FREE, and daily updated by your system. Most of the time, unwanted/nonsolicited antivirus clients are not free!

The only thing missing with MICROSOFT DEFENDER protection is Web protection. You can assure that installing a Private Virtual Network. Africabiz Online is a fan of Hotspotshield.
