Reset Send/Receive in Microsoft Outlook When It Stopped Performing

Sometimes, after firing up Microsoft Outlook, and punching Send/Receive nothing
happens, meaning that mails are not received or sent.
This happens often when one had sent mails clicking an email link on a webpage,
which loads Microsoft Outlook newmail interface to be filled in. And when one
clicks the SEND buttons, the mail is sent to the OUTBOX and kept waiting till one loads Microsoft Outlook through
the normal sequence of START/ALL PROGRAMS/Microsoft OUTLOOK or any other appropriate
sequences.
Then, one may notice that Send/Receive is no more performing.
One way to troubleshooting is to RESTART the whole system. However, there is a simple and quickest way to avoid the hassle of restarting the computer again.
Exist Outlook and proceed as follows:
1- Ctrl + Alt + Del or left Clicking the mouse inside the task bar will load the TASK MANAGER interface.
2- On the TASK MANAGER INTERFACE, choose PROCESSES and search for OUTLOOK.EXE
3- Sometimes, you may find that there are many OUTLOOK.EXE listed in PROCESSES.
4- Highligt (separately) each OUTLOOK.EXE and look at the bottom right side of the TASK MANAGER interface and select END TASK
5- Repeat the operation for each OUTLOOK.EXE
6- Choose FILE on the interface and then EXIST TASK MANAGER
7- Reload again Microsoft OUTLOOK and now Send/Receive should perform.
