- HOW TO GET RID OF NAGGING UNINSTALLERS THAT KEEP POPPING UP

Sometimes, after an application's uninstall using Microsoft Windows Add-Remove (Start/ Control Panel/ Add-Remove), the uninstaller may keep on popping up at odd moment during other computing sessions, again and again. That is a real nuisance that ruins computing experience, as to stop the popping up uninstaller, one would need to go through the sequence of Alt+Ctrl+Del to kill the culprit process - and doing that the occurring sessions is perturbed and one may need to restart the system.

- Windows Add-Remove (Start/ Control Panel/ Add-Remove) does not perform a complete uninstall

When an application is installed, it spreads several components into different locations into the system. Not only in System32 folder, but also in Registry and other "obscure" folders and places:. associated desktop icons, Start menu entries and keys in the Registry. Etc.

Windows Add/Remove does not perform a thorough uninstall to removing all bits of files loaded into locations above listed. Most of the time, even the Registry is not completely cleaned up.

These left over files slow down the system and sometimes nagging uninstallers keep on popping up during other computing sessions.

- Fast and User-Friendly Free Uninstallers

There are third parties applications that perform thorough scan of the system to remove almost all files linked to the uninstalled program. Among them are Registry cleaners. However, even some powerful registry cleaners do not removed all left over files and uninstallers may keep on popping up after the use of the Registry cleaner.

Among uninstallers applications existing out there in the World Wilde Web, we spotted two freeware: (1) Absolute Uninstaller and (2) Revo Uninstaller that do the uninstall job swiftly and more thoroughly than Windows' Add-Remove.

The first times I used Revo Uninstaller, I was baffled to see that applications, I had deleted since ages were still listed on Revo's graphical interface. And when I clicked on the one which was causing the uninstaller's popup, to remove/ delete it, I was amazed to see how many Registry keys had been spotted for removal. This is astonishing because, after the first removal performed with Windows' Add-Remove, I had several times run EasyCleaner and other system cleaning applications.

Further, in spite of using RevoUninstaller, the peculiar nagging uninstaller keeps on popping up from time to time - not so frequently though. But now it is killed right away by Dachshundsoftware Anticrash's Town Patrol, as soon as it shows its "nose". No need to use the following sequence: Alt+
Ctrl+Del to kill its process.
