WINDOWS SYSTEM DIRECTORY When you uninstall a program from your system,
most of the time some pieces of said program are not removed by the uninstalling
tool or the Add / Remove device of Windows operating system's control panel. These
files are often DLL (Dynamic Link Library files) Their presence may be
essential for the good performance of some existing programs on your system and
removing them manually may ends up giving you some headaches; the whole system
can become unstable.
However
sometimes they are plain useless and grew more and more in size to reach few double
digit megabytes, waste disk space and blot up the Windows System directory, clutter
the Registry (the more files there are in your Windows System directory the longer
the Registry takes to locate a file and load it when you switch on your computer.)
Now you have the possibility to manage these remaining DLLs files
without creating havoc to your system and safely remove them when you are sure
that they have no impact on the performance of a single existing program.
The freebie of the month scans your system looking for all references to
DLL files in your Windows System directory. Those DLL files in the system directory
that have no programs linked to them can be moved - in a first stage - to a backup
garage; and - in a second stage - completely removed from your system. Click
here to fetch that nifty little freebie and enjoy having a better loading
system.
